Brandon has been a frequent panelist, public presenter, moderator, and motivational speaker at high school and college commencements, professional development conferences, corporate events, and religious ceremonies. He has conducted

communications and leadership workshops for government agencies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and corporate executives, and has moderated numerous public forums, including one of New Orleans' most historic mayoral candidate debates. His career uniquely spans media, business, higher education, government, and law enforcement—bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to every audience he serves.
Recognized as a trailblazer in the communications industry, Brandon has received numerous awards and recognitions for his professional achievements, entrepreneurial leadership, and commitment to community service.
At the young age of 25, he was named Director of Communications and served on the senior leadership team of what was then the largest network of charter schools in the Gulf South. Prior to his leadership in education, Brandon began his communications career while still in college, working as a field producer and assignment editor for WVUE-TV, FOX 8 News in New Orleans.
Since then, Brandon has built a career that bridges the private, public, nonprofit, and education sectors, becoming a trusted advisor to organizations, elected officials, and business leaders alike.
Today, Brandon brings more than twenty years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, marketing, crisis management, journalism, and public affairs. He is the Founder and CEO of BAMM Communications, a strategic communications and consulting firm established in 2012, and the Founder of BAMM Network, a multimedia network dedicated to informing, connecting, and amplifying communities across the South. Brandon has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University New Orleans and as a Policy and Strategic Advisor to a Louisiana State Representative. Earlier in his career, he served as a community news columnist for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune and hosted The Blueprint, a podcast and WBOK radio program highlighting professionals making an impact in their respective industries.
Passionate about education, mentorship, and public service, Brandon has dedicated much of his career to helping young people discover opportunities they might not otherwise experience. Through board service, community involvement, higher education, and his own company, he has mentored aspiring professionals and created employment opportunities for young leaders beginning their careers. He also serves as a commissioned law enforcement officer and Reserve Deputy Constable in New Orleans.
Whether advising organizations, leading media initiatives, teaching future communications professionals, or serving his community, Brandon remains committed to building stronger institutions, creating opportunities for others, and empowering the next generation of leaders.

From his formative years working within the New Orleans public school system to his continued engagement with young adults, Brandon Armant has long championed the transformative power of mentorship, particularly for young Black men. Understanding the profound gaps left by the absence of positive male role models, Brandon has dedicated himself to being a beacon of guidance and support for the youth. His work has not only focused on the immediate educational achievements but also on fostering a strong sense of identity and purpose among these young individuals.
